Our team

emma roberts
Director, Choreographer and Teacher
Emma trained at Laine Theatre Arts and after graduating went onto perform professionally as a production singer and dancer including work for Carnival Cruise Lines and later in a number of No 1 UK tours.
She went on to gain a first class degree in Contemporary Dance and has worked as a Dance, Performing Arts and Physical Education facilitator and choreographer for over 15 years.

Erin hope-hume
Instructor
Erin started dancing at the age of 2 and hasn't stopped since, training in a variety of styles such as ballet, tap, jazz and music theatre. She has completed examinations with
a variety of dance organisations including the BBO, RAD and ISTD and has also undertaken professional vocal and musical training.
Working professionally for several years throughout the UK and Europe as a dancer, performer and choreographer, Erin has performed alongside famous faces including the Cheeky Girls, Joe McElderry, Ashley Banjo, Ashley Roberts and Hannah Waddingham.
Since returning to Newcastle in 2012 she has become a fully qualified member of the Northern Counties Dance Teacher's Association successfully gaining a distinction in her teaching exam.
She founded her own school, EH Dance, in 2017 and is also a regular guest teacher in many local primary schools and dance schools.

Emily trained professionally at Dance City in Newcastle for three years in ballet and contemporary, before pursuing a career in teaching.
Emily currently teaches P.E and Dance in schools all over the North East.

Emily likes Musicals, Ballet and Contemporary dance, Disney, baking. Also Christmas is my favourite thing in the world. A dislike of hers is she hate olives and mushrooms with all her heart.
Natasha brown
Instructor
Natasha is currently studying in her last year of a BA (Hons) Dance degree, specialising in teaching modules whilst working alongside a variety of different choreographers such as James Wilton, Aaron Dwyer and Ben Ayrton.
She has danced since the age of four and throughout this time has completed grades in multiple different styles up to professional performers awards in Ballet and Tap. Natasha has also been teaching classes at her local dance school for the past seven years, and is a fully qualified teacher on the IDTA board following teaching exams.
In the last couple years she has began taking dance classes and clubs within schools whilst also being a part of Circles and Shadows Dance Company.
likes & dislikes:
Natasha likes taking part in aerial workshops and in her spare time enjoys watching Disney films with her cat. A dislike of hers is milk and dark chocolate.
